(Okay, that last one was a joke/daydream)

My story is titled "Savior of the Moon" is a science fiction tale of the survival, love, and hope.
Salvador De Luna was the last child born on an isolationist colony located on Earth's moon and held colonies only remaining hope after his miraculous birth after a plague sterilized the entire female population.  He can do nothing but watch when political tension on Earth leads to an all out nuclear war. All seems lost until the colonies artificially intelligent caretaker orders him to report to the landing bay to serve as a peace officer. One last glimmer of hope waits for him in there after narrowly escaping Earth's destruction. Kamaria Alexander doesn't know that though, all she's aware of is that mankind's survival is located somewhere beneath the moon's surface. What she doesn't know is that she'll need the help of one other person. The fate of humanity rests with her and The Savior of the Moon.
I wrote Savior of the Moon three years ago, predating the episode of Ancient Aliens (History Channel) that covers several theories that are eerily similar to contents of the story. I'd never heard of any of the theories featured in the the show featuring Giorgio A. Tsoukalos aka, the guy from the "Ancient Aliens" meme, but am amused that these theories mirror an idea I came up with on my own! Though the episode does not mention that the first and last people to step foot on the moon are Neil Armstrong and Salvador De Luna.

Fact: Aliens are the answer to every question.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far and I can't wait to hear what you all think of Savior of the Moon and the anthology as a whole. Now I must go and ponder the existence of the Nintendo 2DS. WHY, NINTENDO, WHY?!?
